Although an engraved tag is a great way to identify your Spaniel, a MICROCHIP is a much more certain method.
Your vet will microchip your dog for a modest fee and the number inside that chip can be read by any vet ,police dpepartment or dog pound and you will quickly get back your pet.
The number of the microchip goes to a central registry and so does your name and address.
A tag can get lost because Spaniels particularly LOVE rummaging around in heavy brushwood and the tag can then sometimes come off their collar.
Be safe and sure with a Microchip.
